Welcome to Year 2

Hi all
Welcome to our Year 2 class blog.  All the children have settled into Year 2 really well and have established a good routine.
This term our theme is called 'All About Me'. This is linked to our science work of keeping healthy, and our geography work 'Our Local Area'. We will be working on portraits in art and doing lots of food tasting in our design and technology work.Our PE sessions are on Mondays and Fridays.
Each week the children will have a small peice of literacy or maths homework, spellings/times tables and reading.
We will keep you informed of any events.  Europian Language Day is on Thursday 26th September.
We are learning about Switzerland. The children can wear red/white to match the flag.
